This refractometer is designed for quick and accurate measurement of concentration of liquids that contains sugar ( Brix )and it's reflective index ( nD ). It can also be used to determine the concentration and/or reflective index of non-sugar liquids ( eg. metal cutting fluids ) through certain conversion tables.
